About Us

Serving All of NEW YORK

Haus of Noire is more than just a charity. We’re incredibly passionate about what we do: helping youth reach their full potential and find their self-worth through art.

Our History

Raymond Lyles, CEO and Founder of Rose Noire Productions, Inc., has worked in multiple media outlets, including creative photography, film production, fine art, fashion shows, social media, advertising, event planning and consulting services. While working in this industry, he began to realize that there was a growing epidemic of young people who struggled with mental health issues due to an identity crisis.

Raymond founded Rose Noire Productions, Inc. 10 years ago with the goal of addressing youth identity crises through fashion and art. Today, his organization continues to provide support, counseling, and artistic education for kids of all genders, ages, and identities.

Our Cause

Self-identity refers to how we define ourselves — it forms the basis of our self-esteem. In adolescence, the way we see ourselves can change in response to peers, family, and our social environments.

Children who identify as LGBTQ+ and other minority groups are especially vulnerable to bullying and identity crises. Studies have shown that low self-esteem in childhood can be at the root of violent behaviors, teen pregnancy, increased school dropout rate, suicide, and lower academic achievements.

There is a tremendous need in our community for programs that provide a safe place for our youth to explore their individualities and know that they are enough. That’s the goal of Rose Noire Productions, Inc., and Haus of Noire.

Our Program

At Haus of Noire, we provide an array of classes geared towards the arts and supporting mental health for youth ages 5-25. Our team of experts specialize in fashion and runway modeling, performing arts, mental health crisis response, suicide prevention and more.

The classes, carried out in 10-week modules, include: understanding your own beauty, dressing properly for success, and numerous performing arts. We also provide mental health classes that include breathing techniques to help relieve anxiety, the importance of self-worth and being comfortable in your own skin, and strategies to cope with negative or suicidal thoughts.

Each 10-week session concludes with a fashion show production in the Bronx or Westchester area. The purpose of the show is to demonstrate to our audience (and models) how dedicated love and support can help shape the next generation of leaders and artists.
